She blinked. How did he...Right. Death. She smiled. "Come now, Death. My human form always appears pregnant. I am not with child." Still, she subconsciously put a hand on her stomach.
Her eyebrows raised. "Really, now? Then it's Conquest that I should kill. Or maybe I should just forgive you." She winked at Conquest. "Your choice." She was only joking, of course. She had no interest in killing him.
She looked between the two, a small smile forming on her lips. "Plotting the downfall of Lucifer?" she asked candidly.

"What do I want from this city? I don't really know. I don't have the powers that you do Conquest I can't control the minds of others, I cannot gran wishes or change how people act. I simply wish for humanity to know that dying cannot be avoided, that they should not continue worrying so much about keeping themselves young and youthful because I will come to them all eventually. But I would prefere to do it in a way that is not going to cause pointless deaths that could have been avoided".
"How is removing the head going to change things? I don't understand what exactlybyou are trying to achieve Conquest. Do you wish to destroy civilization?". Unlike the other three Death sees no gain in destroying humanity, if anything he wants to keep them alive, maybe so that he can exist aslong as humans do. Death gives Arrillia a doubting smile. "If you say so Arrillia if you say so". "A demon such as yourself could not kill one of us. It would take a power on level or greater to our own to do such a thing", he shoots Conquedt a quick glance and grin, "Though you are welcome to try".
The mention of Lucifer makes Death feel slightly uncomfortable since he had made a deal to fight on the Dark Prince's side when the battle comes. "No, at least I am not. It is too dangerous in these times to speak openly about a plan such as that, the spies of Lucifer are all around, his spies everywhere". Death looks down into the hole left by the decapitation of the Statue of Liberty. "This is going to draw some attention and cause some major unrest amungst the people it will not end well".

"The downfall of Lucifer? What makes you say such a thing?" Conquest laughed, neither denying it nor admitting to it. He knew at the current stage, the angels were extremely disorganized...Lucifer's job was much easier--finding and converting people to his cause was much simpler than finding your former allies and banding together.
To Death's question about his goal, he laughed, perhaps the most in quite some time. "You misunderstand... There are two ways to remove a tyrant. The first is to sever their power, lure them out in their weakness, and watch them squirm. The second is to incite rebellion." |
