Famine strode into her restaurant and looked around. It didn’t look like anything was stolen or anything. Some idiot had left it open accidentally before leaving and she was here to confront him. Finding him in the back, Famine put a hand to her hip and said harshly, “Carlos, you left the front door wide open…AGAIN.”
Carlos stuttered. “I-I’m sorry, Ma’am. It won’t happen again.”
“Damn right it won’t. And just for that, I think I’ll tip the damn scale for you, how would you like that?” She grabbed the golden scale and watched as it swayed. “Beautiful, isn’t it?” Carlos only nodded.
A few minutes later…
“Awww….it looks like little Carlos gets no food…..what a shame…” she said, mocking him. “Now get to work!”

"Well, well. If poor Carlos can't get any food, maybe I can?" Tyr grinned to himself, stepping out from a small alcove in the middle of the floor. "I can promise I haven't been a good boy, though." For one who hadn't seen him in ages, Conquest appeared much the same as long ago, the only real difference being in his attitude and the way he carried himself. He sat himself at one of the tables for two, patting the seat across from him. "You can join me if you'd like, I'm famished." A small smirk crossed his lips.
Well...he hadn't quite looked at the menu yet, but he was sure he would be able to find something that suited him.

Carlita arched a brow for a moment, and then smirked. "Don't mind if I do..." Taking a seat, she slid her right leg over her left, and leaned on her elbow. "Carlos forgot to close up shop. It would have been too easy for someone to come in and vandalize the place. I couldn't have that, now could I?"
No, Conquest didn't really look different, and truth be told, she didn't mind. She grabbed two menus and handed one over to him. "On the house." People who knew Famine knew she didn't do that often, but when she did they should run with it and grab all they can...
"So what brings you here? Wanted to try something new? I don't think I've seen you in this restaurant since I opened it."

"Something new, yeah, I suppose you could say that. And really, there's a first time for everything." Tyr glanced down the menu, testing the waters with a cheap appetizer. It wasn't as though he didn't want to visit. "Sometimes things just get in the way. Though, with the way things are now, I have a feeling you'll be seeing a lot more of me. Assuming that you'd like that, of course."
He folded his arms neatly in front of him, watching her with an amused expression. "You've been rather off the radar lately compared to the rest of us, I have to say. Are you settling down?" His eyes were alight with mischief as he watched her, the smirk never leaving his features. It had been quite some time since he'd gotten to actually relax. So, this would be his chance.

He has finally tracked the last if the four down, finally they can be reunited to ride together. His leads have lead him to a restaurant, something he feels is rather befitting his mark, the Horseman Famine owning a place where people eat. Standing outside the building looking in Death can sense a second entity of their kind; Conquest, what could he be doing here? Is it coincidence that Death should run into him again. Putting the thought to one side Death gently opens the doors, he sees one of the kitchen workers and the faint lines that tie the person to their cause of death, this man has his lines connected to the woman who must be Famine. Silently Death watches the man, he can only speculate that Famine is going to have this man starve, that is after all her forte, to take away food when people need it.
Out of all the Horsemen Death is the only one who does not cause people to die, he is the one who cleans up after the other three. Frowning a little Death turns his attention to Famine and Conquest, standing a few feet back from them. "It appears I cannot escape you Conquest, but then again I have always followed the three of you wherever you go". He looks at Famine and bias his head a littlenin greeting. "Famine, nice to see your lovely face again".

Famine smiled a little at Conquest and responded, "It would be nice for you to stop by every once and a while, you know?" She was about to respond when she saw Death enter her restaurant and walk over to them.
"Follow the three of us where ever we go? Ha. If you've seen just how many people that have done something to deserve hunger and starvation, you'd be surprised at how many I haven't tipped the scale for." Though, she had to admit, she had tippe the scale a few times.
To say the least, Famine was a little relieved when Death came through those doors. To answer Conquest's question, would have been a difficult one. "I could say the same for you. For the both of you. Please, have a seat. We can pull one of the empty chairs up."
Then, Famine's face hardened and she sighed. "Excuse me a moment while I grab something from my purse." She didn't have her purse with her, and as she looked over at Carlos, who was now trying to smuggle some bread out, she snapped her fingers, watching as the food disintegrated. "So much better...now where were we?"

Glancing over at the man, he felt pity. If he would only stop attempting to steal, and be good, even Famine wouldn't hold out for long. But, by being foolish and attempting to sneak away food, he further starved himself. He'd pay it no mind, it was not his business.
"Well, if you'd like, then that settles it. I plan on coming around much more often. I'm not one to deny a lady." Conquest nodded, then cast a glance toward the door when he heard the voice of Death floating nearby again. "Escape? Why, do you hear that, Carlita? He wants to escape me!" He said in mock offense, then smiled, nodding.
"We were at the part where you declare your undying love for me and swoon?" He chuckled. I'm merely playing. That's all."

"It is your job Famine to choose you eats and who does not, though it does appear that you at times let your own feelings towards people to cloud your judgement. That man who would not allow to eat would live his life to the fullest but because he made a mistake that you could not abide he is to die by your hands by starvation. As mch as I ate to see it it is not my place to intervene, I could vice the man money to buy enough food to last him a month but but I do not prolong life, it I'd his role to die when he does". Even so Death will send an anonymous check to the family to aid them afterfhe mans death, he is not without a heart. At Famines request Death takes a seat opposite Conquest. "I go wherever there is death, wherever people have died, I follow the three of you because it is usually you three who cause death. War on the battle field, Famine in poverty stricken countrys and amungst the poor and Conquest for people who will stop at nothing, even murder, to get what they want".
Death stops himself from shaking his head at the way Famine disintergeates the mans food, his liking towards humans making him want to go up to the man and give him food. He sighs at Conquests comment. "I was saying hello to the two of you and how nice it is to see your face again Famine. I have also seen War and she is looking as lovely as the last time I saw her in person many years ago".

Famine had to laugh at what Conquest said. "Now, why would Death want to escape you, I wonder?" Looking over at Death, she wondered what he was thinking. Soon, he spoke and she quietly listened to his words. "I see..." Famine wasn't completely heartless, she knew. She watched Carlos a moment, and then sighed. "I'll allow him food in the morrow. He'll only have no food for today. He left the store open for people to steal, and I don't tolerate that. But, I suppose it was a mistake."
Then Conquest spoke again, to which she responded, "Yes, that's where we were." Realizing what she said, Carlita felt her cheeks redden. "Not what I meant...you know, I'm going to go check on the food and get someone to take Death's order." With that, she quickly left the table and went into the kitchen. She stood behind the chef a moment, eying their order. It was the next one to be made. Good.
Carlita tapped on Carlos' shoulder. "Do me a favor, will you? You see that man sitting over there? Take his order and see to it that it comes out with this next order. Tomorrow, your food will be fully restored." Carlos looked excited and Famine sighed. Surely, I will not be one to make a mistake twice... She walked back to the table and sat down as Carlos walked up and asked for Death's order. After that was finished, she asked, "And how is War doing?" She cast a glance at Conquest before leaning back against the seat.

"I know, Death, I was joking?" He shook his head a bit. Though his attention was certainly caught with Death's remark about him. Stopping at nothing to get what they want? "You act as though I've no honor. I don't just fuel the desires of murderers. Remember that."
He sighed, glancing over toward Famine as she spoke again, grinning at her slip of the tongue. "Really now?"t had been a long time since he had the chance to pick on Famine, and she was always good-natured about it. Except when he hadn't ate yet.
He always felt like he had the hardest time talking to Death because of his pure neutrality. Sometimes he had to wonder what, if anything, Death felt strongly about. He couldn't think of anything to say in Famine's absence, so when she came back, he smiled, listening to what the man had to say about their other companion, War.

Death bows his head a little at Famine's dicision to give Carlos food the next day, at that very moment he can see the threads that tie the man to Famine begin to fade. "Thankyou". The lines are still there, his death is still tied to Famine but at least for now his time to die has been put off for a while longer. "He will not do it again any time soon I am sure of it". In fact Death would make sure of it. "True, you can inspire others to strive to a goal, to want something they deserve and make them want to keep going until they've reached that goal". Of course you can also inspire people into war and conflict. Death would never say his thoughts outloud, it is not his place to doubt the actions of his kinsmen, even if at times he doesn't agree with what they do.
When Carlos asks for his order off the menue Death hesitates a little. Been as he is Death does not feel the need to eat to satisfy any hunger, as long as he occupies the body it will not age or fall victim to disease. Not wanting to keep the waiter he orders something simple, a chicken sandwich, reaching into the faint memories this mans mind still holds Death catches a faint knowing that he had quite enjoyed the food. The little play teasing between Famine and Conquest makes Death want to see War again, he hasn't heard from her since that night in Times Square, he can only hope she is doing well. Famines question draws him out of his thoughts. "War is doing fine, much better than the last time I saw her. She is still her firey self but I can see that she is on the way of becoming how she once was; a force that lead brave men to fight for what they held dear, to fight for honour and glory, not mindless bloodshed and the thrill of killing another living human".
As the food is placed in front of him Death looks at it for a moment. He has not eaten in many years and has forgotten the taste of most foods, but if the man whose soul used inhabit the body Death is using liked it then so must he.

Famine gave Conquest a small smile to answer his question, but refused to voice it. Then, she listened as Death answered her question about War. "That's good to hear. I haven't seen her, or either of you in quite some time since I've come here."
Soon, the food came and Carlita looked at it to make sure everything was perfect; being an owner of a restaurant did that, and sure enough, it was. It made her glad to have people working that she had hired herself. Everything seems so great and wonderful...why do I feel like some things are missing? Me? Feelings? What? I mean, yeah, I like Conquest, but that can't be the only thing, right? I should go see...
Carlita stopped herself, dropping her napkin onto the floor. "Oh, sorry. I'll just grab that..." She grabbed it and put it on the table. If I can't even say it in my mind, how do I expect to...? I don't...

This felt like old times--when they could actually relax for a bit, talk, and get some decent memories out of the nights to make up for centuries of dealing with the human experience. There needed to be more nights like this.
Conquest gave a long nod to Death, one eye on Famine as he spoke. "That's good. The recent tide of warfare had me worried about her disappearance. Hopefully she will decide to make herself more public soon." It took him a moment when Death's food arrived for him to realize that he hadn't ordered yet. He was wrapped up in the conversation--which was strange, typically he wasn't one to blather--though he certainly felt as though he had been at the moment. "Hmm..surprise me, Carlita." He winked lightly, leaning back and watching her.

A dry chuckle announced her arrival. "Well, well, look what I'm missing."
A wisp of smoke appeared from beneath the vents, and in a moment, a figure began to form behind Death. When she was solid, her arm was wrapped loosely around Death's shoulders, her head propped gingerly on his. She pulled away, dressed in a black, streamline dress. Her black hair was pulled up like a tourniquet, and she looked like some urban Goddess come to visit. Her hand left the comforting warmth of Death's shoulder as she pulled up a chair, apparently very showy about her appearence. "If it isn't Conquest," Her words were dry, and full of something that could have been mistaken as hate, but it wasn't quite there yet. "Crawled out of the gutter, I see." The two of them had apparently not always had the best of influence with each other. She pulled up a chair, sitting easily next to Death. War's bright emerald eyes fell on Famine next. "It is good to see you again, sister in arms. I hope you have been well." Her long fingernails gingerly tapped the end of the table, and it was as though she'd expected them all to be there. In fact, she hadn't. She'd only been searching for Death, lonely as she was at the moment, and had happened to find him. Now she'd met her two comrades in arms once more, although the sight of Conquest still alive didn't make her any happier. Needles to say, she didn't enjoy his presence much.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Death watches Famine curiously, her actions suddenly becoming a little jumping and nervous, but it is not his way to pry into the lives of other people where he has no right to do so. Removing the thoughts from his mind Death takes a taste of the food that has been placed before him and is pleased with the taste. "Very nice Famine. Though a compliment on food coming from me can't mean much as I'm not one who eats it very often".
"War will make herself known when she is ready, she has been secluding herself for a long time and coming out into the open world will take some getting used to for her". The sound of someone laughing makes Death smile, he would recognise that laugh anywhere. Feeling Wars arms go around his shoulders, Death for a moment lets some of the human emotions, that others would usually keep under control, bubble up to the surface of his mind. Just slightly Death leans back into War and turns his head a little in a sort of affectionate nuzzle against Wars chin.
He watches War take a seat, the smile still on his lips. "How nice to see you again War, I was beginnng to worry since the last time we saw eachother. You are looking very nice aswell. The four of us here together on earth, we are said to bring about the punishment of mankind. Perhaps the time I have spent around humans is why I do not want to se them become an extinct species. I wish to see them live and prosper. I hope that we can work together to achieve this. I fear that there is not much time until Lucifer will make his move against Heaven".
