Nick is a very outgoing and kind person who prides himself on his ability to listen to people and offer his advice. While he attempts to be neutral, he realizes that bias is, ironically enough, not only human. For those he feels are in need of his help, he will give everything he has--including what can be considered rather unabashed advice, though he typically tries to keep people's feelings in mind. For those who try to take advantage of others, he will try to show them the right path--sometimes by force if needed.

Appearance: Usually, Nick can be found wearing comfortable clothing--jeans, any random t-shirt that's still clean--the most upscale clothing usually nothing more than a dress shirt and khakis every now and then.

Goals and Ambitions: Zerachiel's ambitions are to watch over the humans and guide those who have strayed too far back onto the righteous path, as well as to ease the pain for those caught in the Second Great War. He has even been known to seek out demons in an attempt to bring them back into the fold, bringing him a less formal secondary title of "Suicide Angel"--both for his apparent death wish in attempting to convert demons, and for the time he spends among the humans, many of whom are teetering at the brink. While he is not a frontline fighter, he will take no hesitation in cutting down those who would seek to ravage the world and corrupt the human populace.
History: Known in scripture as an archangel, and in some as a seraphim, Zerachiel's birth came long, long ago, when Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden, first experiencing pain and negative emotion, something brought new to the world, with a desire to ease the suffering brought upon them by God's ire--yet, as God willed it, he could not interfere. Soon, as the human race began to grow and prosper, Zerachiel descended to Earth and began the work he should have started ages ago. While Heaven ordained that humans are allowed to have free will, the idea of humanity falling into Lucifer's domain was too much to bear, and he started to, sometimes less than subtly, guide those fallen souls back to the true path. In contrast to the ideals of the fallen, as the first guardian angel, Zerachiel believes that the primary duty of an angel is to watch over and protect the humans.
As any angel could tell you, the process of rebirth is a continuing cycle throughout the ages. The angel takes the form of a mortal, lives a (hopefully) long life, dies, and is brought back into the fold for a short time before returning to the Earth. Among his life memories are living once as a priest, and once as a king's advisor, along with many more lifetimes throughout the millenia.
In his current host, he works as a counselor, bringing himself unconsciously closer to his divine goal. As an unaware mortal, he had an uncanny talent for reaching his patients, and that continues even now after being awakened on the Day of Eden.
